Established in 1887, Catholic University of America is a private research university that focuses on liberal art programs. Located in North East - Washington, DC, the 173 acre inclusive campus is home to the Busch School of Business, Columbus School of Law and of course the prestigious Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.

Catholic's Ice Hockey Team:

Catholic Ice Hockey is a Division 3 Club Ice Hockey program that plays in the National league of the Delaware Valley Collegiate Hockey Conference (DVCHC). The DVCHC is apart of the Collegiate Hockey Federation (CHF) and includes 21 teams from the Mid-Atlantic Region of Washington DC, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey.

Catholic Ice Hockey's home rink is Fort Dupont Ice Arena which is a quick 20 minute drive from campus. We play roughly a 20 game season where half of our games will be played at home on either a Friday or Saturday night in front of a lively crowd.

Our season runs from early September to mid March with a winter break from Thanksgiving to mid January.

Catholic won the DVCHC Patriot League championship in 2018-2019 and the DVCHC American League championship in 2019-2020.

Before moving to the DVCHC, the team won the 2014-2015 Blue Ridge Hockey Conference (BRHC) league championship.
